We're stepping up our efforts to get the Repeal the Death Tax initiative on the November 2024 ballot. We need more than 1 million signatures by the middle of January and the clock is ticking!
When Howard Jarvis was leading the drive to put Proposition 13 on the ballot in 1978, he recorded a radio commercial telling everyone, "There are a great many of you who have gotten petitions signed and they are lying on your desk or in your dresser drawer, where they are no good. If you don't send them to us by December 2nd, we're going to lose."
Do you have any signed petitions on your desk or in your drawer? If so, send them in right now! Please don't delay! We need time to process all the petitions and get them ready to deliver to 58 separate county offices.
We're excited to announce that starting this Friday, November 17, we're hosting a weekly one-hour live radio show called "Repeal the Death Tax Petition Party." You can listen live anywhere on KSFO.com ([link removed]) , and if you're in the greater Bay Area, you can also listen on 560 KSFO. Invite some friends over and join the petition party, every Friday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.

This campaign runs on small contributions from people like you, who understand the devastating effects of the “death tax.” If you can, and if it doesn’t pose a hardship, your contribution of $25, $50, $100 or whatever you can give will pay for radio ads, outreach to voters statewide, and more banners.

Events coming up:
Our VP of Communications, Susan Shelley, will be John Phillips' guest at a live remote broadcast of the John Phillips show on KABC (790 AM in Los Angeles and streaming on KABC.com everywhere) on Friday, November 17. Listen live or come out and join us at Gelson's West Edge, located at 12121 W. Olympic (at Bundy) in West Los Angeles. We'll be collecting signatures to Repeal the Death Tax throughout the show, from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m.
How you can help right now: The most important thing you can do right now is spread the word to everyone you know -- email, phone calls, social media posts -- that everyone should go to RepealTheDeathTax.com ([link removed]) to print and sign the petition. And then they should tell everyone they know! And be sure to join the Repeal the Death Tax Petition party on KSFO and KSFO.com this Friday at 6:00 p.m.!
