Milkweed is the ONLY source of food for baby monarch caterpillars, and it’s also where monarchs lay eggs. So without this essential plant, there would be no more baby monarchs!
But glyphosate is DECIMATING milkweed crops at devastating rates, and as a result, monarch butterfly populations are dying out. 850 MILLION milkweed plants in the U.S. have been WIPED OUT over the last 20 years alone. And the North American monarch butterfly population has dropped 90%.
