Hi there -- Happy International Women’s Day from the Brindisi sisters!

We know firsthand that days like today can be bittersweet: Filled with both hope and frustration or happy memories and painful history. Today, our family is remembering our mother, Jacqueline, and the long and arduous fight she waged against cancer.

Our mom was the strongest woman we knew, and even during the toughest months of the battle she faced, she taught us and our brothers to never let the obstacles in our paths stop us from achieving our dreams. We know she’d be so proud to see how far we’ve come -- both as a family and as a country -- and would tell us to never stop fighting for our future.

So in loving memory of our mother, we’d like to extend the same message to you: Friends, we must keep working to ensure that all people -- regardless of their gender -- have the same opportunity to build their own future. And even when the cards are stacked against you, to keep fighting, no matter what.

We still have so many miles to go until we reach gender equality, and that’s going to take allies in every space. We’re incredibly grateful to have our brother, Anthony, fighting for women in our community in Congress. This is important work, team, so thank you for being with us.

And before you go to sleep tonight, remember to thank the women in your life. It’s something we should all be doing a lot more often.

Warm regards,

Eva, Rosie, and Mary
