Friend, it's Ruben.
In just a minute I’m going to ask you to make a donation to my campaign. We didn’t fundraise yesterday for Veterans Day. So today, we need to ramp back up.
But please, hang on a minute. Let’s put all that aside.
Before I ask for that donation, I want to talk to you about my decision to run for Senate in the first place.
To be honest with you, it gets back to why I joined the Marines. This country has been good to me, and to my family. My mom raised me and my sisters on her own. And today, all her kids have college degrees. My mom even went back to college and got her own degree.
If that’s not the American Dream, I don’t know what is.
So I joined the Marines to give back to the country that did so much for my family. And I decided to run for Senate because kids that grow up poor like I did, the people who serve in our military — they’re not getting what they need from our leaders. From people like Kyrsten Sinema.
I decided to run to take back Arizona’s seat and deliver for the people of our state. Plain and simple.
But when I joined the Marines, I also swore an oath to protect and defend our Constitution. I took that oath seriously. Marines are the first to the fight, and believe me: On January 6th, I was ready to fight.
I see Kari Lake as a real threat to our Constitution.
So now, this race isn’t just about serving our country. It’s not just about delivering for the people of Arizona. It’s about defending our democracy itself.
And to win in Arizona, to beat Kari Lake and take back this seat from Kyrsten Sinema, I need your help.
I need you to make that donation I mentioned at the beginning of this email. Can you do it?
Please, chip in today. It’d be your next/first donation, and it’s critical to our success. Especially now, with Kari Lake officially in the race.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you. I can’t do any of this without your support. And having you with me means a lot.
Semper Fi,
Ruben
