Patriot,
Last week, lawmakers introduced a bipartisan "Government
Surveillance Reform Act," which would reauthorize Section 702 of
FISA, the mass surveillance program that was abused literally
millions of times to spy on Americans, for four more years.
While the bill is being sold as containing "stronger protections
for the privacy of law-abiding Americans," this story sounds
familiar. . .
How many times have we heard that something will be done "for our
safety" only to find out all the privacy protections were
circumvented or ignored altogether?
And when the bill's proponents say the bill gives the government
"the ability to act quickly in emergencies and settle up with the
court later," you know something is very wrong.
After all, just who gets to decide what an "emergency" is?
According to the bill, Attorney General Merrick Garland would
make that decision today.
The Surveillance State goons must be snickering right now.
Tell your lawmakers we don't need more watered-down phony
reforms: just let Section 702 expire!

Remember, this is only the "opening bid" on Section 702. There
are members of Congress who want to renew it with no reforms
whatsoever. . . and if the bill is taken up, it will likely be
watered down even further as it makes its way through each
chamber.
That's why it's critical you tell your lawmakers NO COMPROMISE,
NO BOGUS "REFORM": END Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence
Surveillance Act!
They don't even need to pass a law. They only need to do what
they do best . . . DO NOTHING and let Section 702 expire!
Keep contacting your lawmakers and keep up the pressure.

$25, $10, or whatever you can afford to help us inform and

Especially after all of the lies we've been told and the
wrongdoing in the "intelligence" community, you and I simply
cannot trust the Surveillance State.
If you and I turn up enough heat on Congress to stop
reauthorization, I'm convinced we can bring the statists'
domestic spying programs to a crashing halt.
That's why I'm counting on you to please send your STOP THE
SURVEILLANCE STATE directive and make a contribution of $10, $25,
$50, $100, or more TODAY!
