John —
We’re doing something a bit bold with this campaign to send Adam to the U.S. Senate — but it’s only possible with your help.
We’re making big plans for our TV and digital ad buys for the coming months ahead of the early March primary in California.
And when I say big plans… they might even be too big. Hopefully not. Here’s my thinking:
There are 22 million registered voters in California. And this is Adam’s first statewide race, so most voters have never seen his name on their ballot.
Reaching people on the airwaves, the radio waves, and their social media feeds will be crucial for them to get to know who Adam really is — beyond the mean tweets from Trump and the attacks on Fox News that can spread like wildfire.
But TV ads are expensive. Like $4 million a week expensive.
California is home to some of the most expensive media markets in the country.
And we rely on this grassroots team stepping up to support Adam’s campaign. To fund these ads and many other important efforts to turn out voters.
The thing is — we need to book these ads soon. Before we know how much we’ll raise in the months ahead.
I’m not panicking… yet. But I really need this team to step up right away to make sure we don’t fall short of what we need to air these ads.
I’m hoping this team can help us raise another $150,000 by Wednesday to help our campaign run more ads about Adam’s long record of service for Californians — and his bold plans for California’s future. It’s what we need to do to win — and knowing this team, I bet that we can reach our goal. John, can you pitch in $3 today?

Thanks so much for hearing me out and pitching in. When Adam makes it to the Senate to represent Californians, it will be in large part because of this team — that’s something you can be incredibly proud of.
