Dana Balter for Congress

Friend,

Today, on International Women's Day, we celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women -- and recommit to further advancing women's rights, because there is so much work left to do.

Women remain vastly underrepresented in our government, and we need to change that. When women have seats at the table, policies get passed which benefit everyone -- from paid family leave, to better healthcare access, to wage equality. And here in NY-24, a woman has never been elected to Congress.

Will you help me make history? Donate $2.40, $24, $240, or more to give us the resources needed to flip this swing seat.

This was a difficult week for women in politics. As always, pundits asked if we're "electable" or not. Here's the truth: the many glass ceilings in this county can and will be shattered.

In 2018, Democratic women flipped seats all across the country, and here in our district, we elect women up and down the ballot from school board to president. Hillary Clinton and Kirsten Gillibrand to name just two.

I'm not deterred. In fact, I'm more determined than ever as I travel this district and see the energy on the ground.

So let's get to work! Flipping this seat will take a team effort in the face of John Katko's war chest.
