One year ago today, Jared’s first vote on a bill in Congress was to pass HR1. HR1 (the For The People Act ) set out to put a stop to dark money’s influence in our government and enact comprehensive campaign finance reform. Our democracy must be protected from the outsized impact corporate interests and dark money PACs currently possess.

Well, John, that bill is still waiting for a vote in the Senate. This once-in-a-generation anti-corruption and reform bill represents the interests of the hardworking people of America who want to see a more fair and democratic system of government.
