Between endlessly tweeting and constantly appearing on cable television, there’s not much Ted Cruz says that can surprise us, John. But even we couldn't predict this: 👇

Alright, let's travel back to 2016:
- Back then, Ted was an early front-runner among GOP candidates and several pundits predicted a GOP nomination in his sights.
- When he failed to clinch the nomination, Ted became Trump’s biggest Senate cheerleader, despite initially criticizing him and eventually became a leading figure of the Sedition Caucus that sought to overturn the 2020 election.
- Then, like now — Ted has been "hard at work" to:
- Pass a national abortion ban
- Refuse to address mass shootings
- Enforce a far-right immigration policy
- Undermine same-sex marriage, voting rights, and our democracy
We'll pass, John 😡🙅. We have plenty of far-right extremists to be worried about next year.
Ted Cruz has shown us who he is time and time again. He doesn’t care about serving or doing what’s right for Texans. All he cares about is furthering his career at the expense of the rest of us. We’ve had enough.
We’re ready to send him home but to do this, we’ll need a groundswell of grassroots support to make this a reality.
