I know firsthand the true impact a wish can have: Not only am I the mother of a wish alum, but I've also had the honor of being able to make wishes come true for other children.
I first encountered Make-A-Wish® when my 10-year-old son, Westin, underwent a kidney transplant. His wish and the support of the wish community reignited a joy in him I hadn't seen for a year.
I was so moved by Westin’s experience that I began pursuing volunteer opportunities, and my mother and sister joined me, too. Westin is even planning to volunteer! If I can bring a child and their family just a tiny bit of what we experienced, then I know lives will be changed, just like my family's life was.
That's why I'm asking you to sign the Make-A-Wish card sending a message of support to our pivotal volunteers working every day to create a turning point in a child's illness.
We're looking for 500 people to sign the card before midnight, and adding your name will let our volunteers know you support them.
Please, will you sign our card to send support to our beloved Make-A-Wish volunteers? Just one moment of your time will make all the difference. |
