John—we’ll start with the good news: Democrats across NY-17 had an incredible election night, flipping key seats and defeating Lawler-backed candidates.

The bad news is these victories did not materialize everywhere. According to Politico, "Democrats have a New York problem." Republicans saw a “red wave” on Long Island and even in the Bronx—an alarming outcome that could spell trouble in 2024.

Republicans smell blood, and they're going to fight like hell to hold onto Mike Lawler's reliable MAGA vote and flip other races. We need to start preparing to fight back NOW.
