Team,
On this date in 2019, we at the National Immigration Law Center joined our
courageous plaintiffs at the Supreme Court, challenging the Trump
administration’s termination of DACA.
Together, along with a large coalition of immigrant youth, we stood on the steps
of the Supreme Court, shouting, “Our home is here” — and that is the mantra we carry with us to this day.

monumental victory for over 600,000 DACA recipients, who were then able to
continue to safely live, work, and study in the United States.
Under Trump’s administration, DACA recipients spent years living with immense
uncertainty — but because we took our power to the highest court in the land, we
were able to secure life-saving protections.
This victory in 2020 demonstrates that no matter how tough the battles ahead may
get, we will never stop fighting. As DACA continues to face legal challenges, we
will continue to urge Congress to pass permanent protection for DACA recipients
and DACA-eligible people. To achieve our goal, we need the support of people like you, friend.
As we experienced in 2020, when we come together, we are able to make real,
lasting progress on the issues that matter most. So, if you can, add a donation
to ensure we have what it takes to secure a pathway to citizenship for our
DACAmented community.
