Friend --
This week has been quite special
and we get to end it not just celebrating women across the globe for
International Women’s Day but also wishing our fearless leader, Glynda
Carr, a very Happy Birthday!

This Sunday Brunch, let’s shine our
light on the accomplishments of women and help to move this country to
Higher Heights.
A special message from Glynda:

On International Women’s Day, we
are reminded of the work ahead of us to ensure that every girl and
woman reaches her full potential.
Last week, we had the opportunity
to celebrate Black women leading at the voting booth and on the ballot
all across the country on Super Tuesday showing that women are truly
moving this country forward.
Let’s honor ourselves and women around the world by taking
action by becoming a member of Higher Heights to help Black women
vote, run and lead and wishing Glynda many more birthdays to
come.
Let’s make this birthday count!
Onward,
Lakeila Stemmons, National
Director
P.S. Check
out Glynda's piece in Essence on what this day means to her and the
legacy of civic engagement passed down to her from the women in her
family.
