John, we want to re-center on this before we start up a fresh week.

Tommy Tuberville has never served a day in the Armed Forces. He acts like he knows more about the Military than anyone, and he’s even said as much. It’s just not true.

And here we are — more than 450 senior flag officers in the most powerful Military in human history are still having their promotions held up. Hamstrung.

By this guy.

We are more than nine months into this. VoteVets has done everything we can to get these promotions moving. TV ads, digital ads, press conferences, meetings. We’re proud to do it, too. It’s our duty — both to honor these officers and their commitment to our nation, and to protect the country.

But where is the GOP? Where is that supposed “pro-America, pro-Military, pro-Veteran party?”

We hear that there might be some votes in the GOP to break this blockade, but we haven’t heard anything yet. Until we do — until they take action to move these promotions — the leadership of the GOP and their entire party are as complicit as Tuberville in this.

More than Tuberville, it’s the rest of the GOP that we have to push. After everything we’ve done, this could be the week we get there.

Tuberville is the GOP’s problem, so tell them to do something about him. Add your name and tell the GOP to step up and break this blockade.
