From the United Auto Workers to performers and healthcare workers, workers
are demanding that corporations pay up. These striking workers have sent a
strong message to CEOs across the country: changing technology can’t be an
excuse to leave workers behind.

We can’t stop here. As a champion for good government oversight, I always
say that unions and oversight go hand in hand. It’s one thing to pass laws
that are supposed to help people, but we have to make sure laws are being
followed and are effective. Unionized workers are often the folks on the
ground holding these big companies accountable, and as a Senator I’d be in
close contact with labor so we can hold bad actors accountable together.

Public polling shows support for unions is at a high since the 1960s, but
still just around 12% of Americans are in a union. Congress has important
work to do to make sure workers can be part of strong unions: [ [link removed] ]Can you
