Friends,
26. That's the number of women currently serving in the U.S. Senate.
We've come a long way since trailblazing women activists secured our right to vote a century ago and since the first few brave women served as U.S. Senators. But we still have a long way to go before reaching parity.
That's why today - International Women's Day - I'm writing to you about several critical U.S. Senate races happening across the country in November.
There are two Democratic incumbent women up for reelection this year - Minnesota Senator Tina Smith and I - and there are incredible women running for the U.S. Senate in challenging races across the country: Amy McGrath in Kentucky, Sara Gideon in Maine, MJ Hegar in Texas, Theresa Greenfield in Iowa, and Barbara Bollier in Kansas.
This International Women's Day, I'm asking you to split a $3 donation - or as much as you can spare - among all of our campaigns to help us take back the Senate for Democrats.

Women's voices must be heard and represented in every space at every level - because when women have seats at the table, we all do better.
And with so much at stake in November's election - access to reproductive health care, voting rights, the future of the Supreme Court, and so much more - it's never been more important to elect strong, smart, principled women to take back the U.S. Senate from Mitch McConnell and the Republicans.
I'm personally asking, friend: Will you chip in $3 or as much as you can right now to join me in supporting these women? Let's make history together.

Thank you,
Jeanne
