McConnell is still refusing to act and we need to make our voices heard.
Folks, women are making progress.
In 2018, a record number of women were elected to Congress, with Haley becoming the first woman ever elected to represent Michigan’s 11th District. And after a 50-year battle, we’re finally close to adding the Equal Rights Amendment to the Constitution.
But from the gender pay gap to staggering maternal mortality rates, there’s still a lot of work to be done. In honor of International Women’s Day, we’re asking 500 people to sign on and support the legislative priorities of the House Democratic Women’s Caucus >>
The House has passed more than 275 bipartisan bills that are languishing on Mitch McConnell’s desk -- many of which are crucial for women, including the Violence Against Women Act and The Paycheck Fairness Act.
Haley and the House Democratic Women’s Caucus wrote a letter to McConnell demanding an end to Republican obstruction on legislation that protects women and their families.
But McConnell is still refusing to act and we need to make our voices heard. On International Women’s Day, will you be one of the 500 people we need to support legislative priorities for women?
Thanks for taking action,
Team Haley
