This Veterans Day, as we honor the brave men and women who have served our nation, I am reminded of the debt of gratitude we owe our community's veterans. The immense contributions and the tremendous sacrifices they have made are the foundation on which we can celebrate the liberties we hold dear. As the mother of an Air Force veteran, I am dedicated to honoring and supporting our servicemembers when they return home.
I am proud of my proven track record in Congress of advocating for Inland Empire veterans. Through my role as a Member of the House Appropriations Committee, which oversees all federal funding, I have helped secure additional resources for veterans in our community and across the country. From healthcare to housing and workforce development services, I am working to support our nation's veterans.
To all of the veterans in our community and across the country, thank you for your courage, honor, and selflessness.
