Veterans Day is one of my favorite days of the year.
As a veteran myself, father of a veteran, and leader of an organization of veterans, I love this chance to reflect on service and all the good veterans have done in this world.
Watching the events unfolding both at home and abroad makes me all the more grateful that there are men and women who will raise their hand and swear an oath to defend this country.
Veterans have a unique relationship with this country, and a unique opportunity to be leaders at home.
Today, I’m not just grateful for those who served in uniform, but grateful veterans continue to defend freedom at home, build up their communities, and serve this country.
Thank you to all of you who served and to the families who supported our veterans.
