Friends,
On Veterans Day, we acknowledge the sacrifices of our soldiers and veterans. To those of you who have served, are currently serving, or have a family member or loved one in the armed forces, I want to take a moment to say thank you.
As the granddaughter of two World War II veterans and a member of the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, I am personally committed to ensuring veterans have access to the benefits they’ve earned after putting their lives on the line for our country.
From introducing legislation to help veterans overcome financial obstacles and find good-paying jobs in STEM fields, to supporting female veterans who experience unique challenges after returning home — I’m working day in and day out in Congress to improve the lives of the dedicated people who have served our country.
I hope you’ll join me in honoring veterans today and every day by signing on to show your support for my work to build a future where those who have served receive the critical care, support, and resources they deserve.
Thank you, and happy Veterans Day.
