It was a busy week, but I’m back to keep you in the loop on how I am fighting for our conservative values.
On this Veteran’s Day, I want to express my gratitude to all the brave men and women who have served our country. Your dedication, sacrifice, and commitment to defending freedom, justice, and liberty are what made and continue to make the United States the greatest nation in the world. We should always stand with our veterans, and I’m committed to ensuring that your service is recognized and your needs are met. Happy Veterans Day!
I congratulate Rep. Blake Moore on his election as Vice Chair of the House Republican Conference and look forward to working with him in his new post. Throughout the process, I learned a great deal, forged new friendships, and appreciated the opportunity to explore another way to serve the people of Minnesota's 7th District and all House Republicans.
I am glad to see that the frivolous lawsuit to prevent President Trump from appearing on Minnesota’s presidential primary ballot was rightfully dismissed by the state Supreme Court. And I thank all of you who lent a hand in this fight by donating to the defense’s legal fees. The court made the right decision that it should be Republican voters, not liberal lawyers and dark-money activist groups, who determine their candidates. The wave of 14th Amendment ballot challenges across the country is a strategic and unconstitutional attempt by said groups to interfere with the 2024 election. These fringe liberal groups have no place meddling in the democratic process and are the true “threat to democracy.”
As always, please contact my office if there is anything we can help with. Thank you for your continued support!
With gratitude,
