Good Evening john,

My newsletter includes reporting on Remembrance Week, Small Business Saturday, and securing more social homes for local people in Prudhoe.

As ever, if you have an issue you would like to raise with me as your local Member of Parliament, please email: [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]) .

Remembrance Day

This week, I paid my respects to those who gave their lives for our freedom in the House of Commons Remembrance Constituency Garden on behalf of residents across Tynedale and Ponteland.

And it was great to join Stephen Phelps, who helps to run the local Ponteland and Dinnington Poppy Legion, in Ponteland yesterday.

If you can, please give generously and support our Armed Forces.

We must never forget that Remembrance is solely about commemorating those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in defence of our nation and freedoms.

Lest we forget.

🛍️ Small Business Saturday is back!

Guy and Prudhoe South Councillor Gordon Stewart with hairdresser Katy, who's salon won a small business award last year.

To support, celebrate, and thank great local businesses, I am presenting small business awards to businesses across Tynedale and Ponteland.

Thanks to local small businesses, we have cut unemployment across Tynedale and Ponteland by 45% over the last decade.

Please nominate a small business that goes above and beyond for their local community by clicking here: [link removed] ([link removed]) .

🏡 More homes for local people in Prudhoe

Guy is working with the Council and Karbon Homes to provide more affordable homes for local people across Tynedale and Ponteland.

I was delighted to join Karbon Homes in Prudhoe following a £1.1 million investment into the regeneration of their stock.

It was fantastic to meet with residents who have recently moved into the newly developed Haven, which has freed up other local homes for local people.

I will continue to work with Northumberland County Council and Karbon Homes to secure investment into quality social housing.
