On this Veterans Day, we have the distinct privilege to honor the brave men and women who have served our country in the armed forces. This yearly observance allows us to express our deepest gratitude and respect for the sacrifices these heroes have made to protect our freedoms and uphold the values we hold dear.

From introducing legislation that protects homeless veterans to honoring our nation's promise to toxic-exposed veterans--please be assured that I will continue holding firm to our duty to take care of our veterans when they come home.

Veterans Day is a moment for us to remember that the liberty and security we enjoy are the direct result of the courage, dedication, and selflessness of those who have worn the uniform. We must also acknowledge the sacrifices of their families, who have stood by their side through deployments, separations, and the challenges that come with military service.

This Veterans Day, let us remember, honor, and support those who have served our nation and show them that their sacrifices will never be forgotten.
