Dear Neighbor,
Happy Veterans Day! Today and every day, I’m grateful for our brave veterans and servicemembers who have sacrificed so much to serve our country.
Right now, I know it seems like Washington, D.C., is filled with partisan chaos. But despite much of the fighting we see online and in the news, there are still issues on which lawmakers are committed to working together. Honoring our veterans and servicemembers is one of those issues.
As the Representative for Camp Pendleton and as the Ranking Member on the House Veterans’ Affairs Subcommittee on Economic Opportunity, I’m committed to working with my reasonable colleagues on both sides of the aisle to deliver results for you. In fact, during my time in Congress, I’ve passed 24 laws that help our veterans and military families. That’s why today, on Veterans Day, I wanted to use this opportunity to highlight some of my recent work for those who have served our country. |
