Dr. Anand Parekh, BPC's chief medical advisor, was featured on NPR to lend perspective to fears over the coronavirus and discuss what you can do to help prevent the spread of future outbreaks.

 

Matthew Weil, director of BPC's Elections Project, was quoted in the New York Times expressing concern over the long wait times at polling place locations on Super Tuesday.

 

BPC hosted an event Tuesday on the future of America's energy infrastructure. The event featured industry leaders urging the federal government to develop an economy-wide policy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

BPC's Latest Work

While many were focused on digital threats from abroad on Super Tuesday, the primary contest in Tennessee was disrupted by a different hazard: severe weather and tornadoes. But Tennesseans were still able to participate in the primary thanks to resiliency planning, alternative voting methods, and clear messaging.

 

To better understand the demographic makeup of voters who went to the polls on Super Tuesday, data from the 2016 general election was compiled and analyzed as part of our States of Change series.
