The United States of America is the land of the free because of the brave and our veterans are America's heroes. Without the sacrifice of these selfless Americans and their families, we would not be able to enjoy the God-given freedoms and liberties we have here at home.

 To all the veterans in the Second District and across our state—THANK YOU!

Kansas veterans are truly the best our country has to offer. I am eternally grateful for their bravery and sacrifice that has continued to keep us safe and free.
