On Veterans Day, we honor the bravery and sacrifice of the millions of service members who have answered the call to protect and defend our country, our freedoms and our democracy. Let us take a moment to express our gratitude for their unwavering commitment and selflessness.

Our veterans have sacrificed and worked tirelessly to protect and build our nation. They deserve much more than just a day of thanks. We must commit ourselves to advancing their opportunities and building a brighter future worthy of their sacrifice and that of their families.

Democrats remain steadfast in our promise to ensure that every veteran is valued, respected and supported by providing them with access to quality union jobs, the benefits they’ve earned and the care they and their caregivers deserve through the PACT Act.

We will not rest until we have fulfilled our vow to leave no veteran behind — and to build a future worthy of their sacrifice.
