On this Veterans Day, I proudly join our nation in honoring the brave men and women who have served our country in uniform. It's an honor to represent the over 40,000 veterans in Washington's 1st District. As we extend our gratitude to our veterans today, it's important to recognize that words are insufficient. Gratitude demands action, and that means guaranteeing access to the vital healthcare and essential services that our veterans and military service members deserve. As Congresswoman, I remain fiercely committed to ensuring our veterans receive the top-tier benefits they've earned through their dedication and sacrifice. Let us also honor our veterans by reflecting on the importance of securing peace guided by the wisdom of our veterans who have experienced the true costs of war.
