John,

On Veterans Day, we unite as a nation to express our profound gratitude to the courageous men and women who've served in our armed forces, safeguarding the cherished freedoms and values we hold dear.

If you've served in the military, I extend my heartfelt thanks for your dedicated service, embodying the very essence of our national spirit. Supporting and honoring our nation's veterans is one of my paramount responsibilities in the Senate. My commitment remains steadfast in aiding our veterans' return to civilian life.

Our veterans represent the rich diversity of our nation, encompassing those who served in Korea and Vietnam, those who responded to the September 11th attacks, National Guard and Reserve members on multiple deployments, and those who've guarded our interests worldwide. They rightfully rely on the promises we've made: top-notch health care, educational opportunities through the G.I. Bill, and assistance in transitioning to civilian careers.

This Veterans Day, let us renew our dedication to advocating for our nation's veterans and their families. The brave men and women who've defended our country deserve nothing less than the very best when they return home.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Chris
