Today is Veterans Day – a special day of recognition and celebration, where we unite as Americans to honor our nation’s heroes.

We have the fifth largest military population in the country here in Georgia, with almost 700,000 former servicemembers and more than 100,000 military retirees living in our state.

These brave men and women selflessly stepped up to serve our country in the United States Armed Forces. Today and every day, we honor their unwavering patriotism and the countless sacrifices they have made to protect our freedoms here in America.
