I’ve traveled up and down our district countless times, holding town halls, meetings, office hours -- you name it. I’m always listening to stories and having conversations with people from all walks of life about what really matters to them.
And countless times, I’ve heard from families having to choose between paying for heat and paying for health care. Families who struggle to afford their children’s insulin. Students who are worried about our climate and our planet.
That’s unacceptable. This is not the reality I want for my neighbors in our community. The list goes on, and these stories are what I bring to the table everyday in Congress. Since day one, I’ve been working to introduce and pass legislation to address these issues our neighbors face every day.
