‌As Commissioner of Public Lands, I brought folks together to tackle some of our state's biggest issues, like preventing and preparing for wildfires and taking on the climate crisis.

Now, I am thrilled to announce my run for Washington's 6th Congressional District, taking my vision for bold, progressive action to the other Washington to keep fighting for families in this state and across the country.

Over the last few months, I’ve talked to voters in every corner of Washington and have heard the same concerns – rising prices for necessities like housing and healthcare pushing families out of the middle class, protecting reproductive freedom and women’s rights, long overdue action on gun violence, and of course the existential threat of the climate crisis bearing down on us.

The challenges we face extend beyond the borders of Washington, and so must our solutions.
