Unknown,

This Veterans Day weekend, we pay tribute to the brave American men and women — including 97 Veterans currently serving in Congress — who risked their lives in service to our country and to protect our freedoms.

As we thank those who wore the cloth of our nation, we also pray for the strength and safety of those currently serving in the military.

Since October 7, tens of thousands of U.S. servicemembers have been called to the Middle East — including thousands deployed on two U.S. aircraft carriers now in the region — to send a powerful message about American strength, resolve, and determined support for our ally Israel.

The ongoing war is between Israel and Hamas, but it’s bigger than that. It’s a battle for our shared American and Israeli values; it’s a fight between those who celebrate life and those who celebrate death; it’s a clash between those who cherish safety, freedom, and opportunity and those who cherish barbarism, oppression, and hate.

This isn’t a war Israel sought, but it’s one Israel must fight and one that Israel will win.

deep below the Shifa Hospital , intentionally putting countless civilian lives in harm’s way. The heroic soldiers of the IDF are reportedly closing in on this central command and control center, while trying to minimize civilian casualties. The fighting ahead will be difficult and painful.

We must continue to be a pillar of strength for our friends in Israel. We must champion the true story of this war and the ensuing battles in Gaza, that Israel must destroy Hamas to protect its families — as any country would — and that every civilian death is a tragic result of

Hamas’ despicable strategy to hide among and beneath innocent Palestinians .

We need more voices urging America’s leaders to stand with Israel. This weekend, I urge you to

I am deeply honored to be in this fight with you and appreciate your steadfast commitment to AIPAC and the U.S.-Israel relationship.

May God protect the brave soldiers of the IDF, provide comfort to the people of Israel, and safeguard those kidnapped by Hamas.
