You read that right, John. Right now, gay marriage is technically illegal under California state law.

The US Supreme Court legalized gay marriage nationwide in 2013, making the state’s anti-gay marriage law unenforceable.

But with experts warning that the Supreme Court’s conservative supermajority could reverse the federal right to gay marriage, California must be ready to defend the rights of our LGBTQ+ citizens.

That means voting to enshrine the right to gay marriage into state law in 2024!
