Veterans Day Note

Veterans Day, a day of solemn remembrance and heartfelt gratitude, offers us an opportunity to come together as a nation and honor those who have selflessly served in the armed forces. This day serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by our veterans, both disabled and able-bodied, as well as the unwavering dedication of our active-duty service members. In Wisconsin, the Supplier Diversity Program proudly certifies service-disabled veterans, exemplifying our commitment to recognizing and supporting the heroes who have defended our freedom.

In a world often marked by division and disagreement, Veterans Day stands as a unifying moment of appreciation. It is a day when we put aside our differences and collectively express our gratitude and respect for the men and women who have served and continue to serve our nation.

We can all echo the sentiment that, even in the most divided times, we find common ground in our shared admiration for the sacrifices made by our veterans. This Veterans Day, we join together in holding our servicemen and women in the highest regard, recognizing that their dedication is a testament to the enduring spirit of our nation.

Disabled or not, every veteran has made sacrifices in the service of our country. They have left behind their families, endured hardship, and faced danger to protect the freedoms we hold dear. While we must pay special tribute to service-disabled veterans for their resilience and determination, it's equally important to recognize the commitment and sacrifices of all those who have donned the uniform.

We must remember that veterans are more than just individuals who served in the past; they are living reminders of the values we hold dear as a nation. Their commitment to our shared ideals of freedom, democracy, and justice is unwavering, and it is our duty to honor their service.

On this Veterans Day, let us extend our heartfelt thanks to all those who have served and continue to serve. We acknowledge the sacrifices they have made, the challenges they have faced, and the dedication they have shown. They are the embodiment of courage, resilience, and patriotism.

In Wisconsin, we are proud to support our service-disabled veterans through the Supplier Diversity Program, recognizing their unique strengths and contributions to our community. We encourage all Americans to join us in this tribute by expressing their gratitude and appreciation to veterans in their own way, whether through a simple "thank you" or a more elaborate gesture.

As we celebrate Veterans Day, we stand united in recognizing the immeasurable value of our veterans' sacrifices. Disabled or not, they are all heroes deserving of our deepest respect and gratitude. In a world filled with differences, let us never forget the common bond we share in honoring and supporting those who have served our nation and those who continue to stand on the front lines to protect our freedoms. Happy Veterans Day, with heartfelt thanks.

With appreciation,

Alex Ysquierdo-Director
