Thank you for your tremendous support of my State Senate campaign. Your support means a lot, and I greatly appreciate it. Knowing you were behind me kept me going at the most challenging points. Our victory on Tuesday was a shared one, with every supporter playing a crucial role in our shared success.
Whether you donated to our race, knocked on doors, or phone-banked, you took the time to stand up for our community when it mattered most. We worked together to spread a message of progress, showing Henrico how much issues like protecting reproductive rights, funding public schools, and stopping climate change matter.
John, you made a tangible impact on our campaign, and I'm so grateful for your support. This race was one of the most competitive and expensive in the state this year. We had to win it to keep a Democratic majority and protect against attacks on a woman's right to choose, public education, and other policies that make Virginia a great place to live… and we did . This election showed that hope overcomes fear, that Henrico wants to move forward, not backward, and that the issues that pushed me to run for elected office in 2017 continue to resonate with our community.
I am energized and excited to get to work in the Senate. I will work tirelessly to continue pushing Virginia forward and represent Henrico in the legislature.
