It's been a full year since Democrats in the House of Representatives passed the For the People Act, which includes my CLEAR Act to increase transparency and reduce corruption.

These are key policies that could transform our electoral system by encouraging all Americans to vote and by curbing the influence of big money in our democracy. Instead of helping us make this a reality, Mitch McConnell has opted to stuff our reforms in a desk to collect dust.

McConnell and his allies are scared of what an empowered electorate would mean for the special interests they serve and they'll stall any attempt to give power back to the people.

But I believe in you, friend. We need to fight for election reform and empower our communities. Sign our petition and demand the For the People Act be put to a vote in the Senate.
