One of our biggest champions in Congress is under attack, John.
After Democratic Rep. Summer Lee bravely spoke out in support of the Palestinian men, women, and children of Gaza and joined others in calling for a ceasefire — the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) hit back with a six-figure ad buy full of baseless lies and horrific imagery to smear her.1
Summer was an AIPAC target in 2022, with over $5 million sunk into racist attacks to defeat her. Now, she’s facing a serious primary challenge from a Republican-backed candidate, and AIPAC is prepared to spend millions more.
We were able to fight back against AIPAC’s attacks in 2022, and with your support, we can do it again.
Can you rush a donation of $10 or more right now to show Summer we have her back? Your contribution will be split evenly between Summer's campaign and WFP to help fuel the organizing we’ll need to protect progressive incumbents like her from Republican-backed primary challenges in 2024.

Over the past two federal election cycles, AIPAC has funneled Republican billionaire money into Democratic primaries and dragged the Democratic Caucus in Congress to the right on a host of issues — from climate change to workers rights to U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East.
So as we head into another cycle of competitive Democratic primaries, it’s important that we stand with members of Congress like Summer who are under real threat from AIPAC and other right-wing forces for simply calling on Israel to adhere to its obligations under international law.
Billionaire-backed lobbying groups shouldn’t be able to buy our elections and maintain bipartisan influence over our elected officials and U.S. domestic and foreign policy.
But time after time, we’ve shown that when we put in the resources and the time, we can win critical races even when our candidates are outspent.
Just as we saw in Summer’s district last year, it’s going to take a mass movement of working-class people to hold off powerful special interests. Split a contribution of $10 between Summer’s campaign and WFP today to show AIPAC and other Super PACs that their millions are no match for our movement.
In solidarity,
Working Families Party
