Once again, a completely avoidable shutdown is on the horizon, John. With just eight days left to come to an agreement, the House GOP is threatening to put millions of Americans at risk because they refuse to put extreme politics aside and do what’s right.

These cuts will result in the loss of over seven million jobs, strip millions of their access to Medicare, slash essential funds to public education, and deny food to our children.

I am not surprised that we’re here once again, especially after the House GOP elected such an extremist to lead their party. This is why it’s so important that we flip the House in 2024 and put an end to this dysfunction.
