Friend,
As we approach Veterans Day this weekend, I am trusting God’s plan.
Only through his grace am I alive today.
I’m an Afghanistan combat veteran and Congressman. I took an oath to protect
America, which I will fight for until my dying breath.
In 2010, while serving in Afghanistan, a Taliban bomb detonated beneath me
while I was clearing a path for my fellow soldiers.
I lost both my legs and part of my hand but not my life.
I lived to fight another day. Even though I was no longer fit to serve on the
battlefield, I felt God’s call to continue serving the American people.
All I’ve ever wanted to do was serve the country I love. I stand proudly for
the flag on my two prosthetic legs, I fight for my fellow veterans, and I
always put America First.
But when I first ran for Congress, “experts” told me I couldn’t win.
I was up against a self-funded millionaire liberal, and they said a double
amputee veteran just out of the Army couldn’t win against that kind of funding.
Now, those same know-it-alls think that the Democrats are a lock to take back
the majority in Congress next year
I refuse to back down, but I really need help.
Please, I am humbly asking you to help me, an America First veteran, hold the
Republican Majority. Will you chip in $5 or more to help?
