John --
Right now, if the polls are to be believed, the GOP nominee for PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES is going to be Donald Trump -- by a landslide. And I know I'm singing to the choir when I say that is just too grave and unacceptable a threat to democracy.
That man should never again be anywhere near our Oval Office, and his name even appearing on the November ballot is too close for me.
One of the reasons Donald Trump still has so many hypnotized is the refusal of almost every leader in the Republican Party to hold him accountable. R ight now, there's only one presidential candidate still on the debate stage who has the courage to call out Trump's lies, conduct, and crimes to Donald and his supporters' faces: Governor Chris Christie .

We already know what happens if Chris Christie doesn't meet the threshold of individual donors necessary to participate in the next debate: There will literally be no one on stage willing to say "the Emperor has no clothes."
And this is why I'm encouraging every reasonable Republican, Democrat, and Independent to give just $1 to KEEP THE TRUTH ON STAGE . Every NEW donor will count toward the total Chris Christie needs to stay on the stage.
>> Keep the Truth on Stage for just $1 [[link removed]]
It's important to remember, your $1 isn't an endorsement of Christie's policies or candidacy -- you should obviously vote for whomever you think is the best candidate in both the primary and general elections. All your $1 is doing is KEEPING THE TRUTH ON STAGE. And, frankly, that's a small price to pay to defend democracy [[link removed]] .
I've chipped in. Will you join me?
Country First,
Adam

MEET KELLI NELSON
Where are you from?
I’m from Reno, Nevada.
What has been your focus at Country First?
Saving Democracy is my priority, and I’ve worked with the Communications Group and Electoral Reform Group to turn my support into action.
What was your motivation for joining Country First and how did you hear about us?
After January 6th, I knew I had to do something. I heard of Country First through its Founder, Rep. Adam Kinzinger.
What are your hopes for America in the coming years and generations?
I want my children and grandchildren to grow up in a thriving democracy, as I did. It wasn't perfect then, and perhaps will never be perfect, but it is by far, greatest experiment in government and is worth fighting for.
Do you think we can right the ship?
YES! If we all work together to restore common sense and core values, while rejecting partisan division and extreme ideology.
Thank you, Kelli, for all of your hard work and dedication to promoting and preserving democracy!
