* *Routes 21, 56, 57, 125, RapidRide C and H Lines* will have stop #481 3rd Avenue & Columbia Street (Southbound) closed from Saturday, November 11 through Saturday, November 18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day due to construction;
* *Route 21* will be affected in both directions during Seahawk home games; stops on portions of 1st Avenue S will not be served; use alternate stops on 4th Avenue S instead on Saturday, November 11;
* *ST Routes 542 and ST 545* will be rerouted and will not serve Stop #71353 SR 520 & NE 51st Street (N) from Monday, November 6 to Thursday, November 9, nightly 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. due to construction;
* *Routes 44, 45, 65, 67, 73, 75, 255 and 372* will be affected in the Montlake area on Saturday, November 11 from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the Husky football game;
* *Routes 221, 226, 240, 241, 245 and 271* will not serve Stop #67014 Eastgate P&R - Bay 1 (Westbound) from 10:15 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. on Saturday, November 11 during Husky Service Shuttles; buses will serve Bay 2 instead;
* *Route 181* will be rerouted in both directions off of E Main Street in downtown Auburn on Saturday, November 11 until 3:30 p.m. during the Veterans Day Parade;

I would like?to express my gratitude for all of Metro?s military service members, past and present. I am a daughter of an Army veteran, and Veterans Day has always been very important to my family.
This morning, I?had the honor to join Metro Leadership Team members and colleagues at Atlantic/Central Base to raise the U.S. flag in honor of Veterans Day and to thank all our veterans, military service members, and their families for their selflessness and service.
Last year, you may have seen the stories we shared about two Metro veterans,?Matt Canady and Paul Lang [ [link removed] ]. This year, veterans Wan-Lin Tsou and Chris Cappelletti were gracious enough to share their personal experiences with us?including their background, anecdotes on military life, and why they chose a career at Metro.

Special West Seattle Water Taxi service to get fans to Friday Sounders playoff match!

The West Seattle?Water Taxi will run seven special round-trip sailings on?*Friday, Nov. 10,?*(Veterans Day observed) to help fans get to and from the Lumen Field pitch to cheer on the Seattle Sounders FC in their climactic playoff match against FC Dallas.
Due to the?holiday, service is focused on the afternoon and evening hours, and neither the Vashon or West Seattle routes will operate in the morning, Friday, Nov. 10. The picturesque and congestion-free trip between West Seattle and downtown Seattle takes as little as 10 minutes.
Service will start?at 4:30 p.m. and run through 11 p.m. on?November 10, 2023.* The last sailing from Pier 50 to West Seattle departs at 10:45 p.m.?*
