I am so honored to announce that our campaign has officially received the endorsement of Konstantine Anthony, Mayor of Burbank!
Like me, Mayor Anthony believes in the power of a clean-money campaign and that elected officials should only be responsible to their constituents, not corporations. I know from my own lived experiences as a children’s court attorney that people aren’t getting their basic needs met. I am running because our current representative, the incumbent, drowns out the voices of his constituents in CA-34, preferring to listen to the directions of the wealthy few. That is why it’s so important that we elect individuals who will make sure the voices of those living and working in our community are heard.

Election Day occurred in other states earlier this week, serving as a reminder that California's Election Day is just one year away. Have you registered to vote yet? Only 59% of eligible residents are registered to vote in CA-34! Where there are low voter registration rates, there are vast numbers of people whose voices remain unheard in the democratic process. It's not surprising that CA-34 is also one of the poorest districts across the state with a 21% poverty rate, compared to that of CA's poverty rate of 13.2%, and a 25% child poverty rate. In a city as diverse and influential as Los Angeles, this distressing statistic underscores a dire need for civic engagement. Every single vote carries the potential to influence critical policies that impact education, healthcare, housing, and public safety. By participating in the electoral process, voters can ensure that their voices are heard and represented in Washington D.C.
