Did you see what the new Speaker of the House said last week? In an email to his supporters, Speaker Mike Johnson said:

“I refuse to put people over politics.”

This is both egregious and wholly emblematic of today’s Republican Party.

In a moment where our communities are hurting, now more than ever we need leaders in Congress who will refuse to place political schemes over the people and communities they were elected to serve.

The extremists running Washington DC – including Lori Chavez-Deremer and Speaker Mike Johnson – have proven that they’re unwilling to do so.

And that’s exactly why I’m running for Congress.

Oregonians deserve better than this. Please, can I count on you to pitch in to my campaign to ensure our community is represented by someone who will always put people first?

Thank you so much for your support,
