Friends,

It has been over 72 hours since we first learned of the weekend's second mass shooting in Dayton.

Mitch McConnell is still refusing to call the Senate back to vote on universal background checks, so we're going to continue our effort to raise money for candidates who can end his majority.

This time, I want you to help me raise money right into the source of the problem - Kentucky.

I think Amy McGrath summed up the situation pretty well this weekend:

"This epidemic of gun violence is only going to be addressed by fundamentally changing our government--electing people who can't be bought off by the gun lobby. Mitch McConnell will never meaningfully address this crisis, even though there are measures many gun owners support." - @AmyMcGrathKY

There's no faster path to changing our gun laws than helping Amy McGrath defeat Mitch McConnell.

And she can do it. It won't be easy, but there's no doubt she can handle a tough fight. Let's have her back:

Split a $3 donation between Amy McGrath's campaign and my work building our movement to change our gun laws. There's no better pressure point than putting Mitch McConnell's own seat at risk.

Either Mitch McConnell calls us back to vote, or we're going to keep doing everything we can in this moment to end his Senate majority. Thanks for helping us keep up the pressure.

Every best wish,

Chris Murphy
