John,
San Francisco is coming back strong!
We
have some big announcements! Dreamforce is coming
back next year, San Francisco will host the 2025 NBA All-Star Game,
and the Super Bowl and World Cup will come here in
2026!
Just as important is the progress
Mayor Breed is making to clean up UN Plaza with a new skatepark, and
revitalizing our downtown with two new cafes by Tyler Florence at
Union Square just in time for the holidays.
Mayor Breed is working 24/7 to
bring these amazing events to San Francisco for everyone to enjoy, and
help generate the revenue we need to fund our police, parks, homeless
outreach services, and clean street crews. The momentum is building –
San Francisco is coming back stronger than ever!
>> Dreamforce in San Francisco in
2024!
>> NBA All-Star Game in 2025!
>> Tyler Florence opens two new cafes in Union
Square!
These two new cafes in Union Square
will breathe life into the plaza and provide a “picnic in the park”
experience for locals, visitors, and workers in the area. This is a
great example of the City’s public-private partnerships that are
making progress on Downtown recovery efforts.
>> UN Plaza Skatepark
opens!
The new UN Plaza skatepark has
turned a spot for open-air drug dealing into a space for skaters, dancers, ping pong and chess players, and a welcoming plaza
for people to simply gather. As Mayor Breed said, “U.N. Plaza is a
park, and it is a place meant for people to enjoy themselves in so
many different ways”.
We
hope you’re as excited as we are about the great things happening in
San Francisco!
Sincerely,
Team London Breed
