As we approach Veteran’s Day, we must continue to call out Tommy Tuberville for his lack of support for veterans and our military families across the country.
For months, Senator Tuberville has held up hundreds of promotions for senior military jobs to make a political statement — putting our national security at risk.
As the lone senator to hold opposition, who is Tuberville serving? When it comes to keeping our country safe, it should never be about Democrats or Republicans. It should be about serving the American people.
To serve the American people, we have to do right by them, and that includes representing the values a majority of Americans support. It’s shameful Tuberville cannot see past the partisan games to get that done.
Here in Maryland, Governor Moore knows the meaning of real service from his time in the armed services and beyond. He is working hard to serve the community of Maryland and represent their values in government, just like every elected official should do.
