Last year, we gave out over 200 turkeys to families at Thanksgiving who
didn’t have one. This year, we hope to double that number.

[ [link removed] ]Thanksgiving is two weeks away. Will you chip in $5 or
anything you can today to help us bring some joy into homes around NYC
this year?

We’re teaming up with NYC public housing developments, community
organizations, houses of worship, food pantries and local elected
officials to give hundreds of families an opportunity to celebrate
community, mutual aid, and gratitude.

Many of the organizations we partner with to distribute turkeys — such as
the Youth Ministries for Peace & Justice and Glebe Senior Houses — focus
on uplifting our most vulnerable communities, including immigrants new to
the U.S. and senior citizens.

We’ve run the numbers, and $15-$20 means a family without a turkey gets to
share in the Thanksgiving season.

make that happen?

From all of us here, thank you for your support.

In solidarity,

Team AOC
