Friends,

This is Andy. I’m a long-time Washingtonian, and many of you know me as the Founder and CEO of Busboys and Poets. Earlier this month, I got the chance to introduce my friend, Councilman Robert White, as he begins his reelection campaign for the DC Council at large.

Today, I am happy to let you know I will chair his campaign. 

The Councilman has taken on the tough challenge of leading here in DC. As a businessman, I appreciate his executive leadership and personal accountability. Robert has never shied away from making tough, principled decisions, and when he asked me to chair his campaign, I was enthusiastic to do so. 

I don’t need to tell you that campaigns require two things: resources and volunteers. Today, I am asking you to contribute what you can, up to $100, to show that we are the strongest campaign this year. The councilman faces a primary, and we can put ourselves in the strongest position to win this summer. Contributions up to $100 will be matched five times if you live in DC, and this will give us the resources we need to reach every voter in every ward.  

I am proud to chair this campaign, and together, we will re-elect Robert White for DC Council At Large!
