Hey John, can I share with you what’s been on my mind?

Lately, I’ve been thinking about the progress we’ve accomplished this year.

• We passed a bipartisan state budget that makes historic investments in our infrastructure, public education, and affordable housing.


• We made contraception available over the counter across the state.


• We filed an amicus brief in the 1864 abortion case to show just how essential reproductive care is for our public health and well-being.

But I’ve also been reflecting on the challenges ahead.

• We must defend democracy at the ballot box next year.


• We need to ensure MAGA extremists like Kari Lake, Blake Masters, and Donald Trump are defeated.

Arizona is a battleground state where elections are won by single-digit percentages, and I know that if we want to continue standing up for our shared values and put an end to the chaos, we will have to fight hard.
